Shrink Prostate With These Steps

BPH (Benign prostatic hyperplasia) accounts for at least 1.7 million doctor’s office visits per year, according to the National Institutes of Health. BPH is the gradual enlargement of the prostate and is largely the result of hormonal changes associated with aging. Put simply, (BPH) Benign prostatic hyperplasia is an enlarged prostate with no signs of cancer. BPH does not cause erectile dysfunction.

Urinary symptoms, such as frequency, hesitancy, straining, incomplete emptying, and dribbling, occur when the gland presses against the urethra. The bladder responds by becoming thicker and irritable.

 Prostate Enlargement

Enlarged prostate should be treated, but while you have it there are several things you should know. Men who have enlarged prostate are at high risk of developing high levels of bacteria in the urinary tract.

The prostate gland resembles a donut surrounding the urethra – the tube that carries urine from your bladder through the prostate and out of the penis. Enlarged prostates do not have to stay enlarged or progress to cancer; there are natural therapies to help the prostate gland to shrink back towards normal size.

Studies  have shown that zinc deficiency results in prostate enlargement. Infection and other stress results in lower blood serum zinc levels in general and in particular lower prostate levels. Studies suggest vitamin D, which promotes calcium uptake, may help fend off cancer and ward off infections . Researchers have also reported that low vitamin D levels may contribute to cancer development .

 

Lycopene/Cornsilk/Pygeum

Lycopene is also believed to reduce the inflammation and assist in the treatment of prostate cancer. It is found naturally in tomatoes, and is usually included in all good prostate supplements.

Prostate Cancer Is Not A Deadly Disease

When the body starts to develop malignant or cancerous tumor in the cells of the prostate glands the disease is commonly diagnosed as prostate cancer which, unfortunately is a very common form of cancer affecting the American male population. In fact, prostate cancer is believed to be the second most important cause of death amongst all those suffering from cancer and it trails only lung cancer as being the most deadly disease.

Cancer is known to generally develop when the genes of a person’s cells become injured and when these damaged cells break from an outgrowth and spread it can lead to very serious consequences. The sad part about prostate cancer is that this form of cancer is known to develop within a patient’s prostate and may remain there for many years without giving any warning symptoms – leaving the patient unaware that he or she has prostate cancer.

Also, prostate cancer progression is slow. This is not something the occurs overnight the reason for this form of cancer is that many changes take place in the structure as well as behavior of cells. African Americans are more likely to develop this disease as compared to other racial groups and even for men in whose family there are members suffering from prostate cancer; they will be more at risk of themselves developing this condition – even before they have attained fifty years of age.

No two cases are the same, and as such, there is no general rule as a treatment. Normally, using antibiotics and non-steroid anti-inflammatory agents are of help. There also cases where muscle relaxants can prove to be useful as too can certain medications taken to treat chronic pain.

As in any cancer, the early detection and start of treatment is key. Even if there is no cure for the condition, you can gain years of life and also find relief from much of the agony caused by this disease. The treatment does not involve any painful procedures; however, you may end up experiencing diarrhea as well as dry skin and some problems with urination as a consequence of being treated for prostate cancer.

For this reaseon, early detection can help in programming a good prostate cancer surgery. It proves to be the best treatment option today.

Fortunately, however, prostate cancer is not always aggressive and it very rarely affects people under the age of fifty. Prostate cancer is also different than other forms of cancer in that it grows very slowly and though it may lead to deaths; it is mostly not a lethal disease.

What is the best dose of Saw Palmetto that men should take?

Well, "best" is a really relative term, mostly depending on what your body needs. The most popular doses tend to be at least 300 mg of a standardized extract that has at least 85-95% fatty acids.
When it comes to prostate health, it is generally best to have a few more ingredients that help in addition to saw palmetto, though. Throwing in some Pumpkin Seed Oil, Lycopene, beta sitosterol, and some Nettles extract (from the root). Good luck and I hope I helped!

Today, major tea manufacturers are even making bottled green tea, so you can conveniently replace soda with something far more healthful.

And, green tea has been widely shown in research to be very effective in preventing disease. A wide body of research exists that links green tea to the prevention of cardiovascular disease, Alzheimer’s disease, rheumatoid arthritis, and many forms of cancer. Green tea has even been shown in some studies to be an effective treatment for cancer, when combined with traditional therapies.

It has been shown that green tea, when administered along with chemotherapy, makes the chemotherapy drugs more effective. One study showed that green tea helped to increase the concentration of the chemotherapy drugs in the cancerous cells. In addition, green tea seems to inhibit the replication of cancer cells, meaning that if you consume green tea during cancer treatment, the cancer may be less likely to grow and spread.

It’s really quite amazing that something so abundant and available could have so much potential to keep us healthy. It’s critical that the medical community spend more time testing the power of flavonoids and other anti-oxidants against disease. It’s likely that we could have many healthy remedies right under our nose. In the meantime, be sure to get your daily dose of anti-oxidants, by eating lots of fruits and vegetables and drinking green tea!

So, instead of hiding your head and ignoring the fact that your aging, learn all you can about good prostate health and the symptoms of prostate cancer. while the rest of your body is exposed it is wise to learn all you can about prostate cancer so that you can be better protected about it.

This knowledge will allow you to quickly identify the symptoms and go for full treatment. Better still, the knowledge you will get will help you to always go for check ups once or twice every year, to know immediately prostate cancer develops, so that you can fight it before it spreads.

With prostate cancer, early detection is the best way of surviving it.
